Privacy policy
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain the principles under which your personal data is processed, and to discuss the basic rights related to our processing of your personal data.
The controller of personal data
The controller of personal data is Demure Sp. z o.o. (hereinafter "Demure") with its registered office in Warsaw (00-682) at ul. Hożej 86 lok. 410 , entered into the register of entrepreneurs under KRS number: 0001157818, NIP: 7011247570. Personal data collected by Demure is processed in accordance with the provisions on personal data protection, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/WE (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR") , and in Polish regulations issued in connection with the GDPR, including the Act of 10 May 2018 on personal data protection. Demure keeps personal data confidential and protects it against unauthorized access by third parties in accordance with the principles set out in the aforementioned legal acts.
Scope and Purposes of Personal Data Processing
As part of its operations, Demure collects and processes personal data:
- for purposes resulting from the legally justified interests pursued by Demure as the data controller: for the purpose of providing services to Clients, marketing services, including for the purpose of informing about events organized by Demure or in which Demure participates, and about Demure's activities (e.g., as part of a newsletter), as well as for analytical, statistical purposes, and for ensuring ICT security related to the website https://audiohygge.pl (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- for the purpose of performing contracts concluded by Demure with Clients, for the purpose of cooperation with suppliers and other entities cooperating with Demure (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- for the purpose of conducting recruitment of individuals interested in working or cooperating with Demure (legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, respectively).
We also process personal data to fulfill legal obligations incumbent on Demure (legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Your Rights
The processing of your personal data is voluntary ; however, depending on the circumstances, refusal to provide data or a request for its deletion may prevent us from, for example:
- contacting you,
- providing you with information about Demure's events and activities,
- or performing a service.
Sending commercial information by electronic means, e.g. , by email, is conditional on receiving your prior consent, including that given by subscribing to the newsletter or by instructing us to receive specific information. In accordance with the principles set out in the legal provisions regarding personal data protection and to the extent provided therein, you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectify it, erase it, or restrict its processing, and the right to data portability. If you do not want Demure to process your personal data for marketing purposes, you can object to the processing of personal data for this purpose at any time. If you have given consent to the processing of personal data, you can withdraw it at any time; however, the withdrawal of consent will not affect the processing of data that took place before its withdrawal.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office regarding Demure's processing of personal data.
Processing Period
Personal data will be processed, respectively:
- until the fulfillment of the relevant legally justified interests pursued by Demure, as the data controller, related to the processing of specific data,
- until the expiration of limitation periods related to the contract with which the personal data processing is connected, or related to the limitation of obligations resulting from legal provisions,
- until an objection is lodged regarding processing for marketing purposes.
Transfer of Personal Data to Other Entities
Recipients of your personal data may be, in particular, entities directly or indirectly related to Demure, especially in an organizational or personal manner, which would be based in one of the Member States of the European Union, as well as external service providers (e.g., entities providing IT services, other entities processing data on behalf of Demure based on a personal data processing entrustment agreement), accountants, statutory auditors and auditors, lawyers, administrative bodies, state services, and courts. Your personal data is processed at Demure's headquarters. In the event of transferring personal data to third countries located outside the EU, Demure will apply appropriate instruments aimed at ensuring the security of your personal data. Demure, in connection with cooperation with its suppliers, may entrust the processing of your personal data to the above-mentioned entities. However, in each case, these entities will be obliged to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to process it in accordance with the provisions regarding personal data protection.
